At the specified time, we'll meet at 151 De Ruijterkade. From this location near the Port of Amsterdam, we'll travel by bus to the Wadden Sea wetlands, a World Heritage Site.

We'll cross the scenic North Holland countryside, renowned for its traditional landscapes of farms, windmills, and small towns reclaimed from the North Sea.

These areas, called polders, are typical of Dutch postcards. We'll learn about their history on our bus journey to the port of Den Helder, where we'll take a ferry that will transfer us to Texel Island in 30 minutes.

Upon arrival, we will board a bus for a tour of the island's main attractions, including Duinen van Texel National Park and its iconic lighthouse in the northern part of the island.

We will then visit one of the island's towns, enjoying a traditional lunch featuring a typical Dutch dish at a restaurant.

After lunch, we will proceed to the port of Het Horntje in the south of the island to take a return ferry to Den Helder. Following this, we will travel back to the meeting point in Amsterdam, completing 9 hours of activity.
