Sandboarding Adventure in La Joya Desert

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Arequipa around 2 pm. We will embark on a journey to the La Joya Desert, situated approximately an hour and a half away. Upon arrival, we will equip you with all the necessary gear to commence your journey on the dunes.

The dunes here rise between 15 ft and 230 ft, providing an ideal setting suitable for participants of all ages and skill levels. We will begin on the smaller dunes, allowing you to familiarize yourself with sandboarding techniques. Following your practice, we will utilize a 4x4 vehicle to reach the towering dunes, enhancing your adventure.

After exploring the landscape, you will have ample time to navigate the slopes with your sandboard. Slide down the white dunes as many times as you wish before we take a moment to relax with a revitalizing drink and a snack.

Our exhilarating experience concludes with a return journey to Arequipa, and we will drop you back at your hotel around 5 pm.
