We will gather at the Rafting Parking - Cañón y Cañón at the scheduled time. From this point, we will head to the launch area of our activity.

Are you prepared for an exciting experience? If you’re new to rafting, fear not! We’ll start with an introductory briefing that will cover paddle navigation techniques. After mastering the basics, each participant will be fitted with a life vest and helmet before boarding the rafts.

Our journey begins through a level 1 rafting section, navigating along the most breathtaking part of the Segura River, specifically the segment flowing through the Almadenes Canyon. Did you know this area has achieved the status of a Protected Natural Area? As we drift down the river, we will share fascinating insights into the local biodiversity and the surrounding riparian forest.

Throughout the excursion, we will take breaks to disembark and uncover the hidden gems of the area, such as the Abrigos del Pozo, a significant historical site. Here, we’ll discover the cave of the Monigotes, recognized as a World Heritage Site due to its prehistoric murals, where we will participate in a cave art workshop.

Additionally, we’ll visit the Cueva de las Nutrias, a cave that is home to charming otters. After this exploration, we'll remount our rafts and continue our journey through the Paraje de la Maestra and the Alfonso XII Reservoir, concluding our 3-hour adventure at La Mulata Dam.
