Day Trip Details

At the arranged time, we will gather in Plaza de España and embark on our journey away from Tetouan towards the Rif Mountains. This scenic trip, lasting approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, offers breathtaking vistas of the beautiful Moroccan countryside.

Upon arriving in Chefchaouen, we will commence a 2-hour guided exploration of the winding streets that characterize this iconic town. As the Blue Pearl of Morocco, it is no surprise that visitors are captivated by its beauty from the moment they arrive.

Our route will take us through Outa el Hammam Square, the vibrant nucleus of the medina, where we can appreciate the stunning façade of the Kasbah of Chefchaouen. The towering octagonal minaret of the Great Mosque will be a highlight, alongside the enchanting neighborhoods of Andalusian and Al-Onsar, where the captivating blue hues shine brightly.

We will pause at several picturesque spots and doorways, allowing you to capture stunning images that showcase Chefchaouen's global fame. A visit to the Ras El Ma spring will also be included, where locals gather around the small channels of water that nourish the town.

After the guided segment, you will enjoy 1 hour and 30 minutes of free time for lunch. This is a great moment to indulge in traditional Moroccan cuisine, with options like couscous or delightful tagine at local eateries.

Later in the afternoon, you will have just over 2 hours for leisure activities. Feel free to explore the local handicraft shops, relax at a terrace within Outa el Hammam Square, or take a brief hike to one of the town’s viewpoints that offers sweeping views over the iconic blue rooftops.

Our adventure will conclude with our return to Tetouan, reaching back after approximately 8 hours in total.
