Kekova Island Excursion

Embark on a captivating sailing adventure along the picturesque Turkish Mediterranean coast, where the enchanting island of Kekova awaits your discovery. During this trip from Kas, you will have the opportunity to enjoy multiple stops for swimming in crystal-clear waters and unveiling the hidden wonders below the surface.

Description

We will commence our journey by meeting at the designated location, from which a boat will take us to one of the most stunning and lesser-known regions of the Mediterranean seaboard in Turkey: Kekova Island.

Approximately one hour later, our first pause brings us to Inonu Bay, a perfect spot to unwind and swim. After this refreshing break, we will board the vessel again and head towards Kalekoy, where you will have an hour of leisure to wander through this historic village and uncover one of its most prized gems: the Simena Castle.

Following our exploration, we will dine at a local eatery in Kalekoy, enjoying a tasty meal that includes a salad, a main course, and dessert. With renewed energy, we will return to our boat and set sail toward Kekova Island, famously known as the sunken city.

Upon visiting the ruins of this captivating area, we will proceed to Tersane Island, where remnants of a church, an ancient castle, and stone walls can still be seen. Our journey will include two additional stops at Akvaryum Bay and Yaglica, where you can dive into the inviting, pristine waters for a refreshing swim.

The excursion will conclude with our return to the original meeting point after approximately 9 hours of exploration and delight.

Sea conditions

It is important to note that sea conditions can sometimes be unpredictable and may hinder our departure from the port of Kas. Should this occur, alternative travel arrangements will be made, allowing us to proceed by bus to the ports of Ucagiz or Demre.
