We'll commence our walk along the banks of the Guadalete River, exploring its vital contribution to the trade routes established between Spain and the New World. As we move along, we will encounter notable landmarks of El Puerto de Santa Maria, including the historic old pier and the lively fish market, delving into the ducal and royal customs of ancient times.

Our next stop will be the Iglesia Mayor Prioral located in the Plaza de España. This remarkable church overlooks the city and was constructed during the height of the dukes of Medinaceli's era, similar to the other monumental buildings around.

We will then stroll down Calle Luna until we arrive at Calle Larga, gaining entry to the Centro Cultural Alfonso X el Sabio to view the exhibition on Christopher Columbus. After this glimpse into the past, we’ll arrive at the Plaza de la Herrería.

Finally, our walk will take us along the waterfront promenade, leading us to Plaza de Cristobal Colón and Plaza de Alfonso X el Sabio. This area represents one of the largest historical and most central sites in El Puerto de Santa María, adjacent to the renowned Castillo de San Marcos.
