Lesson Overview

We will gather close to Ponta das Canas beach, located in the northern region of Florianópolis, to embark on an adventure that will leave you feeling like an expert mariner for the day. Are you prepared to begin your sailing journey? Let’s set off!

Before we venture onto the water, you'll meet your instructors, who will provide a comprehensive theoretical briefing on the key principles of sailing. You’ll cover terminology, parts of the boat, and essential maneuvers to ensure you can effectively translate this knowledge into practice!

On the day of your lesson, depending on availability, you can select from the following boat types:

• Dinghy: A traditional and stable vessel, ideal for novices
• Hobie Cat 14: A catamaran that offers a blend of thrill and speed
• Laser 1: A nimble sailboat suited for mastering single-handed sailing with a focus on technical skill

Once everything is set, we will navigate onto the water for the hands-on session. Your instructor will accompany you throughout, guiding you in assessing wind conditions and applying the correct sailing techniques tailored to various scenarios.

Ultimately, we will return to our original spot, wrapping up the sailing lesson after an hour.
