Kangaroo Island Snorkeling Experience

We'll commence our journey at the Kangaroo Island Visitor's Information Center, where an extraordinary experience awaits; swimming with seals or dolphins!

Upon arrival, we'll get suited up with wetsuits, snorkel masks, and fins, ensuring that we're fully prepared for a safe and enjoyable swim. Next, we’ll board our boat that will guide us around Kangaroo Island, looking for the marvelous marine life native to these waters. As we set sail, our expert guide will provide intriguing details about the unique ecosystems of the island.

Throughout our snorkeling excursion, we'll delve into the stunning marine environments that define Kangaroo Island. Depending on the time of year and conditions, we'll look for seals or dolphins. On certain occasions, we might be fortunate enough to encounter both!

Seals can typically be observed basking on large rocks along the shoreline. When we spot these curious creatures, it's time to immerse ourselves and swim with these lively mammals.

If conditions permit, we will also search for pods of dolphins that inhabit these coastal areas. Once located, we’ll jump into the water for an incredible snorkeling adventure alongside these endearing cetaceans.

After an enriching two hours, we'll return to our starting point to conclude the experience.

Wildlife Observations

Spotting dolphins, seals, and other wildlife on Kangaroo Island can be unpredictable; thus, we cannot guarantee sightings. The likelihood of encountering them varies due to natural behaviors and environmental conditions.

Children's Participation

Children are encouraged to participate in this tour and enjoy the boat ride; however, they must be at least 9 years old in order to join the snorkeling portion of the activity.
