Conchagua Volcano Trip

Ascend to the summit of the Conchagua volcano and immerse yourself in the breathtaking scenery of the gulf from the Espiritu de la Montaña viewpoint—an unforgettable adventure!

Tour Overview

At your chosen time, we will gather at 5A Avenida Norte in La Unión, where we will embark on a bus journey lasting approximately one hour to the foot of the Conchagua volcano.

Upon arrival, we will transfer to a 4x4 vehicle specially designed for navigating the rocky terrain as we ascend to the volcano's peak. Our drive will lead us through stunning landscapes until we reach the Espiritu de la Montaña viewpoint, recognized as one of the region's most remarkable sites!

Once at the viewpoint, we will take in panoramic vistas from the wooden platform, capturing numerous photographs of the mesmerizing scenery. In addition, we will embark on a leisurely stroll through the area, with the opportunity to spot various local wildlife. What surprises lie in wait for us?

Following this, we will explore a small museum dedicated to Lenca culture, followed by a 15-minute hike to discover additional viewpoints overlooking the Gulf of Fonseca and the eastern coast of El Salvador. After soaking in the captivating views, we will make our descent back to the volcano's base and re-enter the bus.

Our excursion will conclude with your return to the starting point after 5.5 hours of exploration and enjoyment.
