Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in Lima at the designated time. We will make our way to the Lurin Valley, situated just 15 minutes away. This adventure includes a visit to the pre-Inca temples dedicated to the deity Pachacamac, which held great significance for the ancient Andean civilizations. Over the course of two hours, we will explore this remarkable citadel and learn about the lifestyles of the Moche, Huai, and Inca cultures.

Next, the itinerary leads us to the Acllawasi citadel, a sacred site where virgins were once offered to the sun, as well as the Taurichumpe Temple, the residence of the last overseer of the Pachacamac Sanctuary.

At around noon, we will regroup and proceed to a charming hacienda, where we will immerse ourselves in one of Peru’s most treasured customs. Surrounded by lush gardens, we will witness a breathtaking equestrian performance featuring chalanes, the distinguished Peruvian horsemen dressed in traditional vicuña fiber ponchos and straw hats.

As we observe the unique flat gait of the Peruvian Paso horses, we will learn about their four-beat rhythm, which earns them the title of the smoothest ride worldwide. This exceptional breed is the result of meticulous crossbreeding over centuries, involving three horse types: fieldón, Andalusian, and Frisian.

The exhibition will cover everything related to this world-renowned Peruvian breed, including its various stages of training and care. Additionally, we will enjoy an enthralling marinera dance, a traditional Peruvian dance featuring women dancing on foot while chalanes perform on the backs of the Paso horses.

As the equestrian event concludes, we will savor local cuisine with a lunch featuring iconic Peruvian dishes.

Following our meal, we will return to Lima, concluding the tour and dropping you off at your hotel approximately 7 hours after we began.
