On this surf lesson at Carcavelos beach, we'll teach you the best tricks to master the waves in a very unique setting. How many waves will you be able to ride? Probaly more than you think!

Carcavelos Beach Surf Lesson

Interested in surfing in Portugal? Well, then you're in luck! At the selected time, we'll meet at Avenida Marginal to start a surf lesson. We'll hand you the equipment we'll use during the surf course and head to the beach of Carcavelos.

When we get there, we'll start the first part of the lesson, which will consist of a brief theoretical introduction on how to use the board. Before getting into the water, we'll warm up and practice on the sand—this part is key to learning how to surf properly!

After this, it'll be time to dive into the water and put everything you have learned on land into practice. We'll get on the board and paddle out to try to ride the waves of Carcavelos. You'll have plenty of chances to stand up on the board. And don't worry if you don't manage to keep your balance on your first try—we'll be there to help you every step of the way!

Then, after enjoying the water and surfing on this heavenly beach on the coast of Lisbon for an hour and a half, we'll return to the shore and go back to the school, where we'll end the lesson after 3 hours of experience.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

During the surf lesson, you will learn essential techniques to navigate the waves effectively. The class begins with a theoretical session on land, followed by warm-up exercises to get you ready. You'll practice these skills on the sand before heading into the water.

The surf lesson lasts a total of 3 hours and includes 1.5 hours of surfing time in the ocean. We provide all necessary surf equipment, including surfboards and wetsuits.

Not Included

• Transportation (unless the transport option is selected).

Meeting Point

If you choose the transport option, we’ll meet at the Hard Rock Cafe Lisboa, located at Av. da Liberdade 2. Otherwise, the meeting point is Avenida Marginal.
