2-Day Hike Details

Day 1: Marrakech - Tizi Oussem

We will meet at Hotel Islane in Marrakech to depart for Imlil, crossing towns such as Tahanaout, Oued Ghighaya, and Asni. Upon arrival at Imlil, 40 miles (65 kilometers) from Marrakech, we will begin our hike on the Tizi Mzik trail within Toubkal National Park. The hike ascends to 8,805 feet (2,684 meters), providing scenic views of the mountains and Berber towns.

Midway, we will visit the Tamsoult Waterfall, the tallest waterfall at 328 feet (100 meters). Following this, we will have a local lunch and continue to the small town of Tizi Oussem, where we will stay at a mountain lodge and enjoy dinner.

Day 2: Tizi Oussem - Marrakech

After breakfast, we will hike toward Id Issa, located at 5,905 feet (1,800 meters). Our route continues to the Tizi Oudid trail, which stands at 6,561 feet (2,000 meters), offering remarkable views. We will then proceed to Matat, a forest where we will have a picnic-style lunch and rest.

After lunch, we will continue to the minibus for our return to Marrakech, concluding our adventure around 6 pm.
