Trip Overview

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Monterrey. From there, a two-hour minivan journey will take you to the charming town of Bustamante.

Upon arrival, the first stop will be at the Grottos of Bustamante. A gentle 15-minute stroll will lead us to the entrance. Accompanied by a guide, we will venture into this stunning network of subterranean chambers, where a variety of caverns await, including the Ballroom, the Wedding Dress, and the Elephant. You will learn about the origins of these grottos, formerly known as the Caves of La Palma, named after their discoverer.

Following this exploration, we will visit a local dining establishment for a delicious lunch (not included). Once refreshed, we will stroll through the historical core of Bustamante, taking time to admire its most significant attractions. Highlights will include the Museum of Simple Things and the Alley of the Kiss, among other noteworthy sites.

As you wander through Bustamante, don’t miss the chance to sample the delectable artisan bread crafted in the area. This local delicacy features a blend of wheat flour, nuts, cinnamon, and cocoa, all lovingly baked in a stone oven.

After experiencing the lovely town of Bustamante, we will reboard the minivan for the return trip to your hotel in Monterrey.
