Kyoto Day Trip

Explore the historic capital of Japan with this excursion to Kyoto from Osaka. You will encounter Buddhist temples, beautiful gardens, imperial palaces, Shinto shrines, and much more during your visit!

Details of the Day Trip

At the scheduled time, we will convene at the meeting point, where a bus will be ready to transport us to Kyoto. The travel time is roughly 1 hour.

Our adventure begins with a visit to Fushimi Inari-Taisha, recognized as Kyoto's premier Shinto shrine and revered for its breathtaking beauty. Afterward, we will stroll for about 15 minutes to Arashiyama to explore its renowned bamboo grove, a scene that feels like it belongs in a fairy tale!

Feeling peckish? Depending on your chosen package, around 1 pm, we will pause at a local restaurant to enjoy a traditional lunch featuring a chicken dish.

Rejuvenated, we will proceed to Kinkaku-ji, famously known as the Golden Pavilion. A fascinating fact: this temple once served as the residence of Shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu.

Our final stop will be the iconic Kiyomizudera Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site comprising a set of temples and sacred structures, representing one of the most significant locations in Japan's historic capital!

After a full day of exploration, we will return to the meeting point in Osaka, concluding approximately 9.5 hours of sightseeing.

Meeting Point

The meeting point may vary based on the selected date:

• Until March 31, 2026 (inclusive): pickup will occur at the Osaka City Air Terminal (OCAT) Building.
• Starting April 1, 2026 (inclusive): we will change the pickup location to Osaka-Umeda Station.

Transport-Only Option

When making your booking, you have the choice of a transport-only option. This will follow the same itinerary as the full tour, but it excludes entrance fees and the lunch service.
