Kyoto Tour + Sagano Train

Embark on a journey to the historic capital of Japan and enjoy a ride on a vintage train while taking in spectacular views during this excursion from Osaka to Kyoto. Get ready for an adventure aboard the Sagano train!

Description

To kick off our day at 9 am, we will gather at Namba OCAT 1F. From there, a short trip will take us to Kameoka Station, where you'll have the chance to board the iconic Sagano locomotive, a true gem of Japanese railways!

As we journey on this charming train, known as the "Sagano Romantic Train," you'll traverse a picturesque route that reveals the area's breathtaking natural beauty. Upon arriving at Arashiyama Station, we will step off the train and board a bus to continue our adventure.

Our first stop will be at Arashiyama, where you'll have the opportunity to wander through the renowned bamboo forest. Depending on the tour package you select, there may be a leisurely break for a delightful Japanese-style buffet lunch.

Post-lunch, we will proceed to visit the stunning Kiyomizudera Temple, recognized as a World Heritage Site since 1994. You'll quickly discover the reasons behind its prestigious status!

Following this, our journey takes us to Fushimi Inari-taisha, the principal Shinto shrine dedicated to the deity Inari. Be sure to capture plenty of photos next to its distinctive torii gates.

Finally, we'll return to Namba OCAT 1F, where you'll arrive around 5:50 pm.
