We'll commence this captivating excursion to Wave Rock and York at the designated meeting point at the specified time. Prepare to witness breathtaking rock formations that are sure to leave a lasting impression!
Our route will take us to Hyden, home to one of Australia's most astonishing natural wonders. As we navigate through the hills surrounding Perth, we'll move into the rural landscapes of this region.
Our first stop will be in York, the historic heart of the Avon Valley and the oldest settlement in the area. Here, we will wander through the charming streets while discovering its history, which is intricately tied to the gold rush and livestock farming. The town's intriguing architecture is bound to catch your attention!
The journey will then take us along the Wheatbelt Way, passing through the quaint farming communities of Corrigin and Kondinin, where you can truly appreciate the spirit of the Australian outback. From the coach, you'll catch a glimpse of the Dog Cemetery, a touching tribute to our canine companions.
Next, we'll pause for a lunch break at a local restaurant before continuing our adventure to Wave Rock! The sight of these remarkable stone waves will undoubtedly astound you. This location holds a deep significance as a sacred site for the Aboriginal people, steeped in rich history!
As our tour nears its conclusion, we'll visit Mulka Cave, the ultimate highlight of our outing. Inside, you'll discover ancient cave paintings that narrate an Aboriginal tale!
We will return to the original meeting point after approximately 12.5 hours, concluding our engaging experience.
