Tour of Salango Island

We will convene at 10 am at the Hotel Piedra del Mar in Puerto López. From there, our journey will take us to the docks, where we will board a boat destined for Salango Island. Let the adventure begin!

Once aboard, we'll navigate the serene waters of Machalilla National Park, recognized as one of the largest conservation areas along Ecuador’s coast.

During our voyage, you will have the opportunity to admire the stunning natural scenery and the diverse wildlife inhabiting this region. Expect to see magnificent birds like blue-footed boobies, towering cliffs, and other unique rock formations that will surely captivate your senses. Remember to have your camera ready!

Upon our arrival near the island, you will have some leisure time to snorkel in the inviting, transparent waters and explore the vibrant coral reefs. Accompanied by your guide, you’ll gain insights into the region's remarkable marine biodiversity. Have you ever encountered a starfish up close? Now is your chance!

After four hours soaking in the beauty of this idyllic setting, we will conclude our excursion at 2 pm, returning to the original meeting point.
