Excursion to Uros Islands with Hike on Taquile Island

Your journey begins at 7 am with a pickup from your accommodation in Puno. From there, we will make our way to the port, where a speedboat awaits to take you on a scenic cruise across Lake Titicaca.

In just 20 minutes, we will arrive at the first of the floating islands of Uros. Here, you will disembark for a guided exploration that unveils the rich culture, traditions, and daily life of this Indigenous community of Peru. It is fascinating to note that the Uros are considered one of the earliest civilizations in the Andean region.

Following our visit to this remarkable artificial island group, we will return to the boat and set sail towards Taquile Island, the largest island in the vicinity. Upon arrival, we will begin a one-hour hike along a historic stone pathway that leads to the most breathtaking viewpoints on the island. The panoramic vistas of Lake Titicaca are truly awe-inspiring!

After the hike, you will have one hour of free time to savor lunch at a local restaurant. Our descent back to the boat will start at 1:30 pm, which will return you to Puno.

The excursion wraps up around 4 pm, with a drop-off back at your hotel.
