Dominicania Day Trip

On this day trip to Dominicania, you will have the opportunity to explore an immersive experience center that recreates a Taíno cave, a baseball field, and other iconic Dominican settings.

Day Trip Details 

A 45-minute drive will take you from your hotel to Dominicania, located in the Downtown area of Punta Cana.

Upon arrival, the experience begins with a guided tour of a recreated? Taíno cave where you will learn about the customs of one of the most important pre-Hispanic cultures in the Caribbean. Following the tour, you'll watch a short film in a 4D cinema that highlights the history and roots of the Dominican Republic.

After the film, you will have the freedom to explore the rest of the park at your own pace. At various themed stations, you will see potters shaping clay live, master cigar makers rolling cigars by hand, and you will also have the opportunity to polish your own Larimar stone, discovering why this gemstone is unique to the island of Hispaniola.

As you wander around the park, you can participate in different tastings of Dominican products: premium rum at the Dominican Rum Experience, organic chocolate at Kah Kow, freshly roasted coffee, local beer at a traditional colmado, and the traditional casabe.

For added fun, you can try out the baseball and golf simulators, which perfectly emulate the country’s most renowned courses. To wrap up the experience, you'll enjoy a vibrant live folklore show featuring music, diablos cojuelos, and dancers showcasing the energy and color of the Dominican carnival.

Finally, we will reconvene at the park entrance and return to your hotel, arriving approximately 4 hours after pickup.
