Collecting the Pass

On your first visit day, please go to one of the following locations:

Piazza d'Ara Coeli, 16: Daily from 8:30 am to 4 pm
Piazza Navona, 25: Daily from 9 am to 7 pm
Viale Vaticano 95, 97, and 101: Daily from 9 am to 5 pm

Here, you can collect your tickets for both the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums. Assistance will be available for booking additional attractions covered by the pass, if necessary.

How It Works

When booking, select a pass for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 attractions. Remember that each site can be visited only once.

Although you set a start date while booking, your Roma Explorer Pass remains valid for 12 months starting from that date. The pass is activated upon your first visit to an attraction. To enter each selected location, simply present the QR codes you will receive on your phone post-booking.

Children Under 5

The children’s passes for the Roma Explorer Pass are applicable for ages between 5 and 15. Most included attractions provide free entry for children under 5 years old. It's advisable to verify the official websites of each site for further details.

This voucher is not a valid ticket and cannot be exchanged for physical tickets or used to access Rome's tourist attractions.

You'll receive a confirmation e-mail with an attached PDF file. Please check that the file contains the passes purchased with a unique QR code for each user. If you do not receive the PDF within 72 hours, please contact us at https://www.civitatis.com/en/contact/.

Downloading the e-pass will not activate it. To use your tourist pass, you'll scan the QR code that appears on your e-pass at the entrance to the attractions.

It's important that the PDF you save with the QR code is compatible with your cell phone so that you can easily open it and display it on your device when accessing the attractions.

How Does the Go City: Roma Explorer Pass Work?

Go City: Rome Explorer Pass offers you absolute flexibility: you can decide on the fly which of the more than 40 included attractions you want to visit during your stay in Rome. You'll be able to access to 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 attractions in the city, depending on your selected option.

The Go City: Rome Explorer Pass allows one-time access to each attraction and is valid for 30 days from the time of activation.

Local holidays may affect the opening of some of the attractions included in the pass. Holiday closures will not be grounds for a partial or full refund of the pass price.

Although a start date is requested during the booking process, you may use the pass for 12 months from the selected date.

On the first day of your visit, you'll need to head to the following locations:

At any of these locations, you can pick up your tickets for the Colosseum and the Vatican Museums. We'll help you book other attractions included with the pass if needed.
