Viñales Scooter Tour + El Fortín Ziplining

On this scooter tour of the Viñales Valley, you'll have the opportunity to explore the Indian Cave, visit a tobacco farm, and admire the impressive Mural of Prehistory, which is beautifully painted on a hill. This will be a memorable experience!

Tour Details

We will meet at Casa Carlos Valido, where your scooters will be assigned. The tour begins with a ride on the road through Viñales, heading to the viewpoint of the Los Jazmines hotel. A perfect start to the adventure!

From this viewpoint, you'll take in the vibrant landscape of the valley, covered with tobacco farms, palm trees, and majestic limestone hills that rise against the horizon. After capturing some beautiful photos, we will proceed toward the red terrain surrounding the Indian Cave, where scenic views include stunning stalactites resembling glass fangs.

Once inside the cave, you will embark on a 20-minute boat ride. You'll feel as if you are in a surreal world! As you navigate through the underwater river, marvel at the unique shapes that nature has carefully crafted over millennia.

After exiting the cave, we will continue our journey on scooters to a local tobacco farm. Here, farmers will demonstrate how tobacco seeds evolve into smooth and aromatic leaves. You'll also see the destemming area, where the careful selection process for creating outstanding Cuban cigars takes place.

Our next destination is El Fortín, a pivotal point in the Viñales Valley where you'll have the chance to glide on a zipline. We'll assist you in fitting your safety gear before you soar over the picturesque landscape. As you zip through the air, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of rock formations and farmlands from above.

After approximately 40 minutes of ziplining, we will hop back onto our scooters and head to the famous Mural of Prehistory, crafted by Leovigildo González. This impressive mural illustrates the evolution of life and is located on a colossal mogote within the Viñales Valley. You’ll learn about the time and effort it took to create such a masterpiece and how the artist managed to reach its heights.

To conclude the tour, relax with a refreshing piña colada, soaking in the beautiful surroundings. Finally, we will make our way back to the starting point in Viñales, wrapping up our adventure after approximately 4 hours.
