Biking Adventure in Ria Formosa
We will convene at 10 am in front of The Shack restaurant located in Almancil. From there, we will mount our bikes and embark on an exploration of the stunning Ria Formosa Natural Park. Prepare yourself to take in some of the most breathtaking vistas in the Algarve!
The **route spans 12 miles**, leading us through the park's hidden gems.
The estuary unfolds like an intricate maze of canals, marshlands, and sandbanks. As we ride, you'll gain insights into the significance of this natural haven and, with some luck, spot seahorses, flamingos, waterdogs, and other remarkable wildlife.
We will also take time to view various salt flats. You'll discover how these areas are harvested and learn more about the local fishing traditions that thrive in this region of Portugal.
The enjoyable biking experience will conclude back at our starting point around 12:30 pm.

To join this activity, participants need to be at least 4 ft tall and have a weight of no less than 3 stones.
