Paiva Valley Adventure (3 hours)

At the designated time, we will gather alongside the picturesque Paiva River to commence an adventurous jeep tour of the Paiva Valley. Get ready to enjoy the thrill!

We will hop into the jeeps and immerse ourselves in the beauty of the Paiva Valley. With insights from our knowledgeable guide, we will learn fascinating details about the local flora and fauna. The tour includes discovering the renowned wooden pathways of the Paiva Passages, acclaimed as one of the prime hiking trails in Northern Portugal.

Over the span of three hours, you'll have opportunities to relax and wander about the Paiva Valley. We will take in the breathtaking views of the Aguieiras Waterfall and make a stop at the Geological Interpretation Center of Canelas, providing a deep dive into the history and significance of this area.

The excursion will conclude with our return to the starting point.

Serra da Freita Expedition (3.5 hours)

This tour begins at the specified time at Parque de Arouca, where we will set out on a jeep expedition across the stunning Sierra of Freita, soaring over 1000 meters (3,280 feet) above sea level.

We will explore the unique geological features of the region, viewing Frecha da Mizarela, among the largest waterfalls in Portugal. Additionally, we will visit the Pedras Boroas and Pedras Parideiras Interpretative Centre and enjoy stunning vistas of the Arouca Valley.

The journey will come to a close following a total of 3.5 hours as we return to the meeting point in Arouca.
