Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in São Filipe, setting the stage for an in-depth exploration of Fogo Island, a true gem of the Cape Verdean archipelago.

The first stop will be Chã das Caldeiras National Park, where you can marvel at the impressive Fogo Volcano and capture remarkable photographs. Standing at 9,314 feet (2,829 meters), it reigns as the tallest peak in Cape Verde.

Throughout the journey, you’ll encounter homes constructed from volcanic materials and hear about the significance of the fertile volcanic soil found in the area. Additionally, we will stroll through the charming rural communities of Patim, Achada Furna, and Cabeça Fundão.

At this extraordinary destination, you will have the opportunity to take a break for lunch at one of the local restaurants. Be sure to capture the essence of the moment with photographs!

At the end of this enriching day, you will be returned to your hotel in Praia after approximately ten hours of exploration.
