Excursion to Ronda and the White Villages
Your adventure begins with our pickup service, leading you on a journey through some of the most captivating white villages found in the provinces of Sevilla, Cadiz, and Malaga.
As we make our way past Coronil, we will encounter the impressive Aguzaderas Castle, a Medieval fortress whose robust walls and battlements highlight its significant role during the reconquest of Spain by Christian troops in the Middle Ages, owing to its pivotal location.
Venturing through picturesque natural landscapes, our first destination will be Zahara de la Sierra, celebrated as one of the most enchanting white villages in Cadiz. The allure of its whitewashed streets is complemented by an opportunity to delve into the historical olive oil production of Andalusia, with a visit to the traditional olive mills still operating in the area.
Continuing our journey in the same province, we will visit Grazalema, recognized as the wettest town in Spain. Here, you can savor the crisp air enriched by the surrounding trees of the Garganta Verde natural park, where there’s potential to spot the impressive griffon vulture. The national park, characterized by its remarkable natural beauty and scattered fir trees, presents an area of breathtaking vistas.
After enjoying a leisurely lunch break, our tour will lead us to the Malaga mountain ranges, culminating in a visit to Ronda and its historic center. Situated in the highlands of Malaga, we will explore Ronda’s remarkable architectural highlights, starting with its iconic structure, the Puente Nuevo. This architectural marvel spans a gorge over 100 meters deep and showcases stunning craftsmanship, constructed between 1759 and 1793. Following this, you will have free time to discover the charming old town, take in the views from the famous bridge, or indulge in some local shopping.
