Tickets + Audio Guide

On the day of your exploration, head to the office located at Calle Arfe, 3 to collect your tickets for accessing the Cathedral and the Giralda. With your tickets ready, we will accompany you to the Cathedral, guiding you to the Giralda's entrance where we will also provide you with details on how to download the audio guide to your phone, ensuring you grasp every crucial detail of these iconic monuments.

Seville Cathedral

Recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1987 and listed as an Asset of Outstanding Universal Value in 2010, Seville Cathedral stands as the largest Gothic church globally. It is undoubtedly a highlight for anyone visiting Seville.

Upon your arrival, the impressive façade will reveal many of the cathedral's mysteries, built atop the remnants of a historic mosque. As the third-largest cathedral worldwide, after St. Peter's in Vatican City and St. Paul's in London, it features 10 entrances, with the primary entryway being the Puerta de la Asunción. The beautiful Puerta del Príncipe, facing Plaza del Triunfo, draws many visitors due to its intricate architecture.

Inside, you'll be struck by the grand dimensions and the brilliance of numerous artistic creations that showcase its cultural significance. The High Altarpiece is one of the largest worldwide, and the cathedral also shelters the tomb of Christopher Columbus among several remarkable sections, including the Royal Chapel, the Main Chapel, the Alabaster Chapel, and the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception. The audio guide will enrich your understanding of these notable areas!

Another highlight accessible with your ticket is the Patio de los Naranjos, a tranquil garden full of vibrancy, reflecting its heritage as a mosque. Enjoy a leisurely stroll among its trees while admiring the architectural details of the Cathedral from the outside.

Giralda

Currently serving as the belfry of the Cathedral, the Giralda was initially designed as the minaret for the Almohad mosque. Now, it stands as one of the city’s most significant monuments and a major attraction.

Constructed during the Muslim era and influenced by the Koutoubia in Marrakesh, this tower was finished in the Christian period. Standing tall at 104 meters (341 feet), the Giralda is one of Seville's iconic landmarks. From its summit, visitors are rewarded with some of the finest views of the city. To reach the top, you will ascend through 35 ramps, originally designed for horses.
