Enjoy a unique afternoon by booking a half-day trip to Cape Sounion, home to the Temple of Poseidon.

Tour Details

At the indicated time, we'll meet at 26 Athanasiou Diakou Street and travel to Cape Sounion via the coastal road, featuring views of the Saronic Gulf and beaches such as Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, and Varkiza, until reaching the southernmost part of Attica.

Upon arrival, you will visit the Temple of Poseidon, established in the fifth century B.C., located on a 60-meter high promontory surrounded by the sea.

After taking in the views of the Aegean Sea from the ruins, there will be time to relax, take photos, and enjoy the scenery before returning to the capital.

After 4.5 hours of sightseeing, we will conclude the experience back at the meeting point.

On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the Key Tours Office, located at 26, Athanasiou Diakou, Atenas 11743. The closest metro station is the Acropoli stop on line 2 (red line), just a 3-minute walk. Please be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Temple of Poseidon Admission

Please keep in mind, that admission to the Temple of Poseidon is not included in the price listed. Tickets cost 5EUR per person up until March 31, 2025. As of April 1, 2025, admission costs will be 20EUR per person.
