Day Trip Details

We'll meet at the Piazza Dogana in Porto Torres to begin this day trip to Asinara Island, which we'll do in a reduced group with a maximum of 7 people. Ready to explore a paradise of turquoise waters and fine sand in the most exclusive way?

Once we're all together, we'll board a minibus to explore the beauty of this natural corner of northern Sardinia. During the tour, the guide will share insights about the history of the place and the interesting wildlife that inhabits the island, including the famous white donkeys, its most recognized residents.

Asinara is also home to the Sea Turtle Rescue Centre, providing veterinary care for injured or stranded sea turtles. Its main objective is to treat, rehabilitate and return them to the sea.

We'll also observe horses, mouflons, and sheep, along with various buildings that were part of the island's history. You can capture the moment at the stops we'll make throughout our adventure, especially at the beautiful coves of Asinara.

During the summer months, you'll have half an hour to take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of one of the island's beaches. Don't forget to bring your swimsuit and towel! We'll also take a break during the tour for lunch.

After a total of 10 hours, we'll return to the starting point in Porto Torres.

Please keep in mind that, on the day of the activity, you'll have to pay the following fees:

Admission to the CRAMA Sea Turtle Recovery Centre: 3EUR per person
Municipal tax (except for children under 6, people with disabilities equal to or greater than 65% and residents of Porto Torres):
- From October 1 to May 31: 2.50EUR per person
- From June 1 to September 30: 5EUR per person
