During this guided journey through the island of Flores, you will discover the hidden treasures of one of Europe's most secluded islands. In just a single day, immerse yourself in the stunning natural beauty of this region of the Atlantic, traversing its charming villages, breathtaking waterfalls, and stunning viewpoints from the northern to the southern tip. Prepare to experience the true essence of the Azores!

Tour Information

We will convene at Rua da Esperança, 14A at the scheduled time, initiating our comprehensive exploration of the island of Flores. A knowledgeable local guide will accompany us, revealing why this enchanting island casts a spell on its visitors.

Our adventure will begin aboard a minibus, making our first stop at the Alagoa viewpoint, followed by a visit to Ponta Ruíva. Here, you will have the opportunity to explore a quaint ethnographic museum and the Ilhéu Furado viewpoint, featuring a captivating rock formation. Continuing northward, we will savor the scenic vistas from the Ponta Delgada Cedros viewpoint and admire the islet of Maria Vaz.

A highlight of our trip will include the enchanting area of the 7 Lagoas, where volcanic calderas create picturesque landscapes. Additionally, we will observe the towering basalt columns at the Rocha dos Bordões and make strategic stops at the Portal and Craveiro Lopes viewpoints to revel in the most breathtaking views the island has to offer.

After a visit to the Vila das Lajes and its historic church, it will be time to rejuvenate. We will indulge in a traditional lunch at a local eatery, where regional dishes await our taste buds.

Following our meal, we will journey to two of the Azores' most idyllic locations: the Poço da Ribeira do Ferreiro and the stunning waterfall at Poço do Bacalhau, located in the Fajã Grande region. After an enriching 7-hour adventure, we will return to our starting location.
