Honcopampa Archaeological Site & Chancos Thermal Baths Tour

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Huaraz at 9 am, as we set off towards Honcopampa, an archaeological site once inhabited by the Andean Wari culture.

After approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes on the road, we will reach the site nestled within the Cordillera Blanca. Here, we will delve into the remnants of the Wari civilization, discovering their cultural practices and burial customs. One of the highlights includes witnessing the chullpas, the funerary towers reserved for members of the elite.

Our journey continues as we stroll towards the stunning Yurac Yacu waterfalls, where the breathtaking cascade of the Aquilpo Gorge awaits us. Following our time at this serene location, we will pause for a break, allowing you to enjoy lunch at your leisure.

To round off this excursion, we will make our way to the Chancos Thermal Baths, renowned for their medicinal waters. You will have around 2 hours for relaxation and rejuvenation in these therapeutic thermal baths.

The tour concludes as we return to Huaraz, arriving between 5 and 6 pm.
