At the agreed time, we will collect you from your accommodation in El Calafate, setting the stage for an extraordinary exploration through the Argentinean Patagonia. Are you prepared for a memorable hike in El Chaltén? Let’s embark on this adventure!

Our journey begins with a scenic bus ride lasting around 3 hours along the iconic Ruta 40, where you can enjoy views of landmarks such as the magnificent Lago Argentino and La Leona, where we will make a brief stop to relax before reaching our objective: El Chaltén.

Upon arrival, we will initiate our hiking expedition to the Mirador del Torre. This trail meanders alongside the Fitzroy River, guiding us to an astonishing viewpoint. Prepare to encounter one of the most breathtaking sites within Los Glaciares National Park!

On our journey covering approximately 3.72 miles (6 kilometers), we will traverse through a valley of unparalleled beauty and navigate through the gorge of the Fitzroy River, stopping at the Margarita viewpoint along the way. As we approach the summit, you will be rewarded with spectacular vistas of Cerro Solo, Cordón Adela, Cerro Torre, and Fitz Roy. Remember to capture these moments!

For a delightful break, we will indulge in a picnic-style lunch featuring a ham and cheese sandwich, mini cake, salad, fruit, and homemade pudding. Following our meal, we will commence the descent back to the charming village of El Chaltén.

Upon our return to this picturesque mountain town, our bus will be ready to escort you back to your hotel in El Calafate, with an anticipated return approximately 13 hours later.
