Homun Cenotes Day Trip

Embark on a Mexican journey as you explore the enchanting cenotes of Homun. Marvel at the impressive rock formations and enjoy the refreshing crystal-clear waters!

Your adventure begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel, followed by a journey towards Homun, a village nestled within the Yucatan Peninsula's most prominent cenote region.

Upon entering the lush Maya jungle, we will switch our mode of travel. You can choose to cycle or hop onto a traditional horse-drawn "truck" to explore the stunning cenotes!

During the morning, we’ll visit some of the area’s most remarkable cenotes, including Tza Ujun Kat, noted for its striking emerald hues; Yaxbakaltun, one of the largest and most breathtaking cenotes in Homun; and Balmil.

After our exploration of these natural wonders, we’ll take you to a nearby local eatery where you can savor delicious traditional Mexican cuisine before returning to Merida.
