Capelli di Venere Waterfalls Adventure
Our excursion begins at your chosen meeting point in Pisciotta. From there, we’ll embark on our trip to the stunning Hair of Venus waterfalls (Capelli di Venere), situated inland within the Cilento area.
Traveling aboard a comfortable coach, we head towards Casaletto Spartano, a quaint village that serves as a gateway to a spectacular natural oasis, encompassing the renowned Hair of Venus waterfall. Known as the Oasi Capello, this site is among the highlights of Cilento National Park.
Upon arrival, we will navigate a series of stairs and scenic wooden walkways that guide us toward the waterfalls. Are you familiar with the tale behind the name of this mystical destination? We will share it with you throughout the experience!
As we approach the waterfalls, beautifully concealed by lush foliage, we will be captivated by the interplay of light as golden rays of sun dance upon the water and the surrounding flora. Looking skyward, the remnants of a Norman stone bridge will create a picturesque backdrop for our visit. It’s a scene just waiting to be captured!
After immersing ourselves in the pristine beauty of the surroundings, we’ll continue along the river to a tranquil spot where we can unwind and enjoy a snack beside a charming historic water mill.
Concluding our day, we will board the bus for a return journey, arriving back at the starting point in Pisciotta after an enriching four-hour experience.

If you'll be making your own way to the meeting point, we'll meet at 3 pm at the Discover Cilento offices, located at the following address: Via Borgo 11, 84066, Pisciotta. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance.
We also recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes and bring sunscreen, a hat and water.
