Tour Overview

Day 1: Puno - Uros Islands - Amantani

Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation between 7:45 am and 8 am, followed by a trip to the port of Puno. From there, we will embark on a boat headed towards the remarkable floating island of Uros. Experience the ingenuity of the local artisans as you explore these extraordinary man-made islands, created from aquatic vegetation. Spend an hour and a half engaging with the vibrant culture of its residents.

Next, we will continue our journey across the waters of Lake Titicaca. Be sure to document the stunning sceneries that unfold along the way! After a three-hour navigation, we will reach the beautiful island of Amantani. Here, you will dine with a local family and, re-energized, commence a scenic one-hour hike up the Pachamama hill, the loftiest elevation in the area. At the peak, witness the enchanting sunset as it paints the sky.

Later in the evening, savor a delicious dinner, and if you wish, participate in a traditional dance along with the locals!

Day 2: Amantani - Taquile - Puno

Awaken at 7 am to a delightful breakfast before boarding the boat destined for Taquile. Often regarded as home to the world's top weavers, the island's craftsmanship is recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. While traversing the paths of Taquile, you'll uncover fascinating insights about its traditions.

After a lunch break, it will soon be time to depart from Taquile. The tour concludes with a boat ride back to Puno, where you'll be returned to your hotel around 3 pm.

This experience includes a stay of 1 night in local homes on Amantani. The indicated price is per individual in a double occupancy room.

Pickup Information

The itinerary covers pickup from hotels situated in the heart of Puno. If your lodging is located farther out, please meet us at Calle Jirón Arequipa, conveniently close to Plaza de Armas.
