Comprehensive Tour of Quito's Equatorial Landmarks

At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your accommodation in Quito to commence our journey. In under 40 minutes, we will arrive at our first stop: the Equatorial Line.

We will begin at the Zero Point Museum, an excellent venue to learn about the Earth's equator along with its equinoxes and solstices. Following this, our next destination will be the Intiñan Interactive Museum, where you can engage in intriguing experiments, such as experiencing the Coriolis effect and balancing an egg on a nail.

Next, we will travel to the town of Mitad del Mundo, or Middle of the World, to visit the prominent monument delineating the equatorial line. Here, you will have the chance to explore artisan shops and visit the complimentary beer and cocoa museums, finishing with a delightful chocolate tasting.

Before proceeding to our next location, enjoy some leisure time for lunch with suggestions for local dining options nearby.

Re-energized, our next stop will be the Quito cable car. From this vantage point, situated at over 4,000 meters (13,123 feet) above sea level, you can appreciate the breathtaking views of the city of Quito.

To conclude our tour, we will visit the monument of the Virgen del Panecillo, which provides stunning panoramic views and splits the city into two halves. Here, you will explore the museum and capture memorable photographs of the skyline.

After a fulfilling 8 to 9 hours, we will return to your hotel, wrapping up a wonderful day.
