Bike Tour of Vilamoura

Discover the essence of the Algarve through this exciting cycling adventure in Vilamoura! Experience the charm of this coastal town while enjoying the refreshing ocean breeze.

Tour Overview

We will gather at the designated meeting point, in front of the Marina Arcadas building, to embark on our enriching bicycle tour of Vilamoura. Spanning a distance of 12 miles, this journey will take us through the captivating streets where you can uncover the area's many delights and secret spots.

Our first destination will be the leisure port, where stunning views of the coastline await, alongside the impressive yachts docked at the marina.

Continuing onward, we'll cycle through the vibrant city center and cross the Quarteira River to explore the Vilamoura Environmental Park. This expansive 200-hectare area features diverse ecosystems, including vibrant wetlands. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the various bird species that inhabit this region of the Algarve.

Afterward, we will make our way back to the sandy shores to relish the picturesque beaches of Vilamoura. Here, we’ll take a well-deserved break to savor a traditional local sweet before continuing our cycling trip.

At the end of our journey, we will return to the starting point after approximately 3 hours of exploration.

Participant Requirements

To join this activity, participants must meet the minimum height requirement of 3.6 ft (1.10 meters) and have a minimum weight of 44 lbs (20 kilos).
