Our adventure begins at the designated meeting point at the ticket office of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. Here, we will commence our exploration of one of Italy's finest archaeological sites, recognized as a World Heritage Site.

As we walk through this remarkable landscape, you will feel as though you've stepped back into classical times. The valley is home to twelve stunning temples, accompanied by two agoras and a bouleuterion, the site where the local council once convened.

This area served as the heart of ancient Akragas, the initial Greek settlement in Agrigento. Throughout our exploration, we will delve into the architectural marvels that have inspired countless artists and thinkers, learning about their rich history and structural intricacies.

Our first stop will be the Temple of Juno, where we will then proceed to the remnants of its surrounding fortifications. Following this, we will view the awe-inspiring Temple of Concordia, alongside the traces of an early Christian necropolis.

As we continue, we will encounter the Temple of Heracles and the ruins of the Temple of Zeus, highlighting the classical mythological figures to whom these revered sites were dedicated.

After this enriching exploration of the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, we will return to the modern world, concluding our tour approximately two hours after its commencement.
