Scuba Diving for Beginners in Port d'Addaia

Your journey will start at the dive center located in the commercial area of Port d'Addaia. Initially, we will conduct a briefing to cover the fundamentals of scuba diving and familiarize ourselves with the gear.

Following our introduction to scuba diving, you will receive essential equipment including a wetsuit, booties, mask, and fins. We will then proceed to the port, where a boat will be poised to transport us to the selected diving site along the northern Menorca coast.

Once equipped, we will enter the water, embarking on our dive that will reach depths of up to 12 meters. Breathing through your regulator will quickly become second nature as you acclimatize.

For around 45 minutes—dependent on your oxygen usage—you will have the opportunity to discover the vibrant marine environment surrounding Menorca. Be sure to keep an eye out for the diverse marine life that inhabits this area! Our dive will take us among the seagrass fields, where a rich assortment of fish, including groupers, mullets, and many other fascinating species, await.

After our underwater exploration, we will return to the boat and head back to the dive center in Port d'Addaia, concluding our activity approximately 2.5 hours after we began.

Important Information

Following the last dive, you should refrain from flying or ascending to high-altitude areas for at least 12 hours.

Be aware that there may be occasions when we remain on shore instead of taking the boat, depending on the tidal conditions on the day of the dive.
