The adventure begins at the designated meeting point at the Terminal Marítimo da Madalena. From this western point on the island, we'll head inland towards the stunning plains.

As we journey through the area, experience a breathtaking array of mountains and lakes that reveal the secrets of Pico Island, home to numerous volcanoes and craters. We'll pause at a viewpoint, allowing you to soak in the stunning vistas—perfect for capturing memorable photos!

We'll then take a break for a picnic lunch, featuring a sandwich or salad, fruit, a cereal bar, water, and juice to refuel your energy for the remaining adventures.

Post-lunch, our exploration continues with a visit to the Casa dos Vulcões Centre of Interpretation. Here, we will delve into the fascinating volcanic activity that shapes the island.

Following this educational stop, our course will lead us to other lesser-known lakes and volcanoes around Pico Island. These serene spots, distanced from bustling cities, provide an ideal backdrop for appreciating the stunning scenery of the Azores.

Ultimately, we will return to the meeting point in Madalena, with our journey totaling approximately 8 hours from departure.
