Excursion to Toledo, Segovia, and Ávila

At the designated time, we will gather in the heart of Madrid. Once the group is assembled, we’ll head to our first stop: Toledo. Prepare to immerse yourself in one of the 15 cities in Spain recognized as a World Heritage Site!

This city is often referred to as the City of Three Cultures because of its blend of architectural marvels reflecting Christian, Jewish, and Muslim influences nestled within its narrow lanes. We’ll stroll through the historic center and observe the exteriors of significant structures such as the formidable Alcazar, the magnificent Toledo Cathedral, and the Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes. If the opportunity arises, we'll step inside the Toledo Cathedral as well.

Following our visit, we will proceed to Segovia, where you will have free time to savor a delightful lunch. After our break, we will reunite to discover the stunning Roman Aqueduct while discussing its historical relevance to the city. We will then appreciate the facade of the cathedral before exploring the iconic Alcazar of Segovia, a military stronghold that has once housed a number of Spanish monarchs!

Our next stop is Ávila. Upon arrival, we’ll uncover the allure of this walled city and its historic center. We’ll begin by marveling at the impressive city walls, which are recognized as the best-preserved fortifications in Spain. We will also wander around the medieval citadel and visit the Ávila Cathedral.

Later, we’ll head to the Mirador de los Cuatro Postes viewpoint, one of the finest vantage points in the city! Remember to bring your camera to capture the enchanting vistas of Ávila!

Eventually, we will embark on our journey back to Madrid and conclude the day at the initial meeting point after approximately 11 to 13 hours.

Tour Options

When booking, you can select from the following alternatives:

• Tour without tickets: with this choice, you will need to acquire your own tickets for the Alcazar of Segovia.
• Tour with tickets: this option includes admission to the Alcazar of Segovia, so purchasing tickets is unnecessary.
• Tour with tickets and lunch: the most inclusive option! In addition to entry being covered, you'll also enjoy lunch in Segovia.

Itinerary Sequence

Please note that, for organizational purposes, the sequence of the visits outlined above may change. On certain days, we could start with Segovia, followed by Ávila, providing free time for lunch in the latter. In this case, Toledo would be the final visit before our return to Madrid.
