Expedition to Villavicencio Reserve

Your day begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Mendoza at 8 am, followed by a scenic drive northward towards the Villavicencio Natural Reserve, located just an hour away.

As we travel, you will encounter the majestic Cerro de la Cal hill, stopping briefly at the monument of Canota. This spot is steeped in history, as you'll learn about its significance during Chile's independence and the legacy of the notable liberator José de San Martín.

Upon arrival at the Villavicencio Reserve, we will visit the interpretation center, where you'll gain insights into the diverse flora and fauna of the region. Keep your eyes peeled for incredible wildlife such as guanacos, foxes, wild cats, and black eagles, with potential opportunities to observe them in their natural habitat.

Next, we will take a stroll through the gardens of the Hotel Termas de Villavicencio and visit its chapel, a site recognized as a National Historical Monument. The final highlight of our trip will be the viewpoint known as the viewpoint of the snails, where you can marvel at stunning panoramas of the winding roads that define this captivating landscape.

Our excursion will conclude with a return to your hotel in Mendoza by 1 pm.
