Engage in a remarkable adventure in the enchanting forests of Finland with a husky dog sleigh ride beneath the Northern Lights.

Activity Overview

We will convene at Maakuntakatu 29 in Rovaniemi at the specified time. From this meeting point, we will travel to the site where the friendly huskies await, ready to accompany us on this memorable journey.

Once prepared, we will embark on a 5-kilometer (3.1-mile) husky sleigh ride through some of Finland's most breathtaking and captivating landscapes. Depending on the conditions, either the guide or a participant from each group may take the reins of the sleigh.

Weather permitting, we'll gaze upward to witness the ethereal aurora borealis, whether in the serene forest or alongside the scenic lakeside. Following this extraordinary view, our team of huskies will lead us back to our starting point.

Finally, we will ensure your safe return to your accommodation in Rovaniemi, approximately 2 hours later.

Aurora Borealis

The aurora borealis represents a natural spectacle, and while it is commonly visible during our excursion, its appearance cannot be assured.

Itinerary Adjustments

Please be aware that the sled journey is contingent on weather conditions. Should there be ample snow and the lake is securely frozen, we will use sleds; otherwise, if temperatures rise or safety dictates, we will switch to wheeled carriages.

On the day of the activity, we’ll meet at the indicated time at Maakuntakatu 29 (Maakuntakatu 29, 96200 Rovaniemi, Finland). You’ll need to be there 10 minutes before the scheduled time.

You must present your tour confirmation voucher and a photo ID.
