Join us on this excursion to Nisiros from Kos, where you will explore the island renowned for its black stones. Our visit will include the volcano and the island's main settlement– Mandraki.
Nisyros Day Trip
We will start the day with a prompt pickup from your accommodation in Kos, proceeding to the Kardamena port, where we will board the ferry to the island of Nisyros.
The ferry ride will last approximately one hour. Upon our arrival, our first stop will be the island's striking volcano. You will have around 45 minutes to delve into the details of the crater's history and its geological features. Did you know that its last eruption occurred in 1888? You will also observe the boiling holes that still exist on the island.
Following our visit to the volcano, we'll proceed to the main town of the island, known as Mandraki. Here, you'll have two hours of leisure time to wander through its charming streets, explore the Panagia Spiliani monastery, and savor a delicious meal at local eateries—ample time to immerse yourself in the local culture!
In conclusion, we will return on the ferry to Kos, concluding the tour with a drop-off at your hotel after 8 hours of exploration.
