We will gather at Avenida Dr. César Oliveira in Fuzeta at the scheduled time, where a boat awaits to transport us into one of Portugal's most treasured wetland areas, the Ria Formosa Natural Park.

As the tide recedes, we will navigate through this ecological haven in search of the various bird species that inhabit these wetlands, both indigenous and visiting.

This location is home to over 20,000 water birds during peak winter months. Over a span of just two hours, anticipate spotting more than 200 unique species from close proximity! Throughout the experience, a knowledgeable marine biologist will guide us, offering insights that will aid in identifying the diverse avifauna of Ria Formosa.

Our exploration will lead us to observe exclusive species endemic to this region of Portugal, such as the Purple Swamp-hen and the Little Bittern.

This engaging adventure will conclude as we return to the starting point after two hours.
