Bariay National Monument Tour (8 hours)

The Bariay National Monument Park commemorates Christopher Columbus's arrival in Cuba, being the first landfall of La Pinta, La Niña, and La Santa María. Within Bariay Park, you will find sculptures crafted by Cuba’s indigenous peoples alongside remnants of neoclassical arches, symbolizing the fusion of native and European cultures. Nearby, a replica of the 15th-century indigenous dwellings awaits your exploration.

Next, enjoy a visit to a local residence, where you can savor Cuban coffee and refreshing coconut water. Following this, embark on a 45-minute ride by horseback, carriage, or on foot through the mesmerizing mangroves, coconut plantations, and Bariay Bay. Conclude with a delightful swim in the sea. Holguin Tour (6 hours)

Your adventure begins at the stunning Mirador de Mayabe viewpoint, where breathtaking views of the surrounding Cuban landscape await. The Holguin Tour will enlighten you with insights into Cuban history through the reliefs of the Origins mural. Following this stop, we will explore the Cathedral of San Isidoro, a colonial-era structure, and the vibrant market square.

As we progress, we will visit Plaza Calixto García Íñiguez to discuss Cuba's Independence movement, followed by a visit to the La Periquera Museum. Here, you'll uncover pivotal events in Cuba's history and learn about the Mambises. A visit to the San José church, the city’s oldest church, will allow you to admire its distinctive architecture.

Lastly, we will ascend to Loma de la Cruz, a viewpoint offering panoramic vistas of Holguin. The itinerary coincides with our group Holguin Day Trip.

Gibara Tour (8 hours)

In the picturesque village of Gibara, we will admire the Batería Fernando VII Fortress, perched atop the Punta de Yarey promontory. Built in 1817, this fortress stands as Gibara's most iconic monument. We will also explore the Museum of Natural History, where intriguing facts about the region await, alongside the skeletons of a sperm whale and another whale.

Next, take in the spectacular scenery from Gibara's top viewpoint before venturing to the enigmatic Cueva de los Panaderos (Bakers' Cave).

Before concluding the day, we will return to Gibara's center, where you can enjoy a traditional Cuban lunch if you desire. Finally, we will transport you back to your hotel in Guardalavaca. This tour follows a similar route to that of our group Gibara Day Trip.
