Day Trip Overview

The adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Kathmandu. From there, we will travel south for approximately 40 minutes, leaving the bustling cityscape behind, to reach our first destination: the Asura Cave. Are you ready to delve into its depths? Let's begin!

After ascending a considerable flight of stairs, we will enter the revered Asura Cave, also referred to as the supreme cave of Yangleshö. This site holds great significance as a Buddhist pilgrimage location, with legends suggesting that a guru achieved complete enlightenment here. We'll share compelling stories about its rich history!

Following our exploration of the cave, we will proceed to the Neydo Tashi Monastery, the dwelling place for the local Buddhist monks. Here, you’ll experience a tranquil and harmonious environment while gazing out at the picturesque valley.

During your visit, you can observe the prayers and ceremonies of the monastery and, if you wish, respectfully participate in rituals and engage in conversation with the monks. This interaction promises to be a fulfilling part of your journey!

Upon the completion of our 4-hour tour, we will return you to your hotel in Kathmandu, where you can reflect on the day's discoveries.
