Rombeau Winery Visit

On this guided tour of the Rombeau winery, we'll tour the vineyards of this family-run winery 15 minutes from Perpignan, including a tasting of Roussillon wines!

Tour Details

Le Domaine de Rombeau is located at 2, Avenue de la Salanque in Rivesaltes, a Roussillon wine village just 15 minutes from Perpignan. The tour begins with an introduction to the history of this 1852 farm, preserved by the same family of winemakers for six generations.

We will visit the vineyards overlooking the Canigó massif, covering 87 hectares, with 28 dedicated to organic cultivation and over 20 varieties of grapes. This will be followed by a visit to the cellar's barrel room, containing nearly 600 barrels, one of the notable collections in the South of France. Here, we will learn about the aging process and the types of wood used.

The tour concludes with a wine tasting, lasting 1.5 to 2 hours.

• Tasting of 4 wines from old Roussillon vintages: includes 2008, 1984, 1966, and 1952 vintages from the Rivesaltes Ambré collection, lasting 2 hours.
