Details of the Day Trip

Your adventure begins at 8 am when our team will greet you at your hotel in Izmir. We'll board a comfortable minibus and commence our journey towards the Bergama region in Turkey.

After an engaging ride of about 1.5 hours, we'll arrive at the historically rich site of the Greek city of Pergamon. As you walk through the ruins, you will encounter remarkable sights, including its impressive terraces, the acropolis, temples dedicated to both Greek and Roman deities, and the renowned Altar of Zeus. This is a remarkable opportunity to step back in time and marvel at its grandeur!

Next, we will visit the Asclepeion of Pergamon. This significant site, dedicated to Asclepius, the deity of health and healing, served as an ancient therapeutic center. While exploring this historical facility, you will gain insights into the medicinal practices of the era.

After a day of exploration, we’ll pause at a local eatery where you can savor a delicious lunch, replenishing your energy with some of the traditional specialties of the region.

Concluding our excursion, we will return to Izmir, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel around 5 pm.
