Sian Ka’an Experience

When you book your excursion, you will have the option to select from 2 distinct experiences. Both options feature hotel pickup and drop-off, a boat excursion, and entry to the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve. Below are the detailed itineraries for each choice:

Half-Day Tour - Sian Ka’an Discovery

During this half-day adventure, we will embark on a speedboat to navigate through the diverse lagoons of Sian Ka'an. Enjoy the journey as we glide along a narrow stretch of sand bordered by stunning beaches, lagoons, and vibrant coastal flora until we reach Boca Paila, where the wetlands converge with the ocean, home to various manatees and crocodiles.

Weather permitting, you will have the chance to snorkel in the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef and marvel at the array of colorful corals and fish residing in the area. After some snorkeling, a sumptuous meal on board awaits you. Once lunch is finished, we will make a stop at a nearby beach, allowing you an hour to unwind and soak up the sun.

Ultimately, we will conclude our activities and retrace our path back to the starting point after approximately 5 hours of exploration.

Full-Day Tour - Sian Ka’an Adventure

If you wish to dive deeper into this incredible ecosystem, this option is perfect for you. Along with discovering the lagoons of Sian Ka'an, such as Boca Paila, you will witness cays inhabited by endemic bird species and possibly spot the most stunning creatures of the Caribbean Sea, including dolphins and turtles. For those eager for a closer look at the marine life, snorkeling gear will be provided, enabling you to explore the clear waters of this untouched natural environment.

Next, we will travel to the sandbank, referred to locally as the natural pool, positioned in front of exquisite reefs. Our journey will continue to Punta Allen, a true gem of Quintana Roo, where you will savor a delightful Caribbean lunch featuring tortillas and rice.

At the end of this enriching experience, we will return you to your initial meeting point after approximately 11.5 hours of activities.
