Night Tour of Xoximilco
When night falls, we'll pick you up at your hotel and hit the road to Xoximilco to enjoy a night full of music and folklore. Arriving at the canal area, we'll embark on a traditional trajinera boat, where the food, drink and fun are endless!
Mariachi music will accompany your journey on the floating party city of Xoximilco, while you enjoy a free bar of tequila, beer and soft drinks. You'll also have the opportunity to taste the local gastronomy, and put the cherry on the cake with typical Mexican desserts.
Beneath the blanket of the stars, you can dance, cheer and sway with the movement of the trajinera to make this an unforgettable night. Finally, we leave Xoximilco and take you back to your hotel in Cancún.
Opening hours
Xoximilco is open from 5:30 pm to 1 am. Around 10:50 pm the bus will depart to return to the hotel.
HOW IT WORKS?
During this experience, you will experience the magic of Xoximilco at night. The tour begins with your hotel pickup, followed by transportation to Xoximilco. Once there, you will board a traditional trajinera boat for an evening filled with music, dancing, and traditional food.

Hours of operation:
- Monday to Friday: from 7 am to 8 pm
- Saturdays: 7 am to 4 pm
Pickup is from different hotels in Cancún, Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya. Therefore, the pickup time will vary depending on the location of your hotel and traffic.
Tours and days of operation are subject to availability and changes. We can't guarantee pickup from a hotel where you aren't staying, as some hotels' policies don't allow visitors access to their property.
Grupo Xcaret guides will be dressed in red t-shirts with the Xcaret logo on the back so you can spot them. They'll also call out the name of the tour.
During pickup, you'll need to show your printed or digital voucher and photo ID (in printed or digital format)when boarding the bus. This is a requirement to be able to get the park admission bracelet.
Recommendations
- You must bring your proof of purchase with you on the day of the tour.
- We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes, preferably long pants.
- Your sunscreen and insect repellent should only contain titanium oxide and zinc oxide for use in the Park. If you do not comply with this requirement, you can exchange them at the entrance for a chemical-free sample; on the way out the originals will be returned to you.
- We advise bringing cash or a card to buy souvenirs, do an optional activity or purchase photos of your visit.
Important information
- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
- Children over 1.40 metres but under 12 years of age must also present identification to prove their age.
- The boarding time of the first trajinera is at 8 pm from September to March, and at 8:30 pm from April to August.
- Each trajinera has a maximum capacity of 20 people.
- It is not possible to change the date on the day of your visit.
